An Aberdeen City Council report into the Don’s plans for a new £50m stadium and training facility at Kingsford won’t be published today, Tuesday 3rd October.

That’s despite indications from the local authority that planning officers would make a recommendation on whether the complex should be given the go-ahead – ahead of a crucial vote on the issue at full council next Wednesday, 11th October.

Bosses at Pittodrie say the new facility is vital to the club’s future. But objectors want the club to find another site.

Yesterday, the No Kingsford Stadium Group said it has funding in place to launch a judicial review if councillors give the plan the go-ahead next week.
